Meet Meghin Lisi

Marriage & Family Therapist

Meghin Lisi is a Marriage and Family Therapist who is licensed to practise psychology in New York, Delaware, and Maryland. She has over a decade of clinical experience in evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders, panic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, specific phobias, social anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Meghin utilises an integrative model that incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. Meghin is easy to talk to, is skilled at collaborating with families that are experiencing life transitions, communication barriers, trauma, and family conflict. Her primary goal is to create a secure and trusted environment in which clients can freely express their symptoms without fear of judgement, enabling them to freely share what they are experiencing and ensure that all challenges are heard and the goals are achieved.

Meghin earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University in Long Island, NY.  She has experience with families utilizing Structural Family Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT to work systemically with families and couples, as well as with survivors of trauma. She has held significant positions in clinical and academic settings throughout her career. She has been an adjunct professor in marriage and family therapy for graduate-level students. Meghin also provided supervision and consultation to clinicians in the field and has developed educational programming and specialized training for clinicians.

Meghin, who has over a decade of experience, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families by offering evidence-based, compassionate treatment that promotes growth, healing, and significant clinical results. She deeply values the privilege of being a therapist and considers the therapeutic space sacred, where empathy, privacy, respect, and trust are the core principles guiding all therapeutic relationships.
